На территории Украины первые пожарные автомобили появились в 1910-х годах. Первые пожарные автомобили в Киеве появились в 1913 году, это были автомобили на шасси Мерседес. В 1916 году в пожарных мастерских на шасси Бенц-Гаггенау были построены пожарные автонасосы. Одесская городская пожарная команда в 1921 году изготовила на шасси грузового автомобиля фирмы Уайт пожарную автолестницу с ручным приводом фирмы Магирус. Эти пожарные автомобили прослужили до конца 1920-х годов, когда в СССР началось массовое производство пожарной автотехники на основе отечественных автомобилей.
In Ukraine, the first fire trucks appeared in the 1910s. The first fire trucks appeared in Kiev in 1913, these were the cars to a Mercedes chassis. In 1916, the fire workshops on the chassis Benz-Gaggenau built the Fire-pump. Odessa City Fire Brigade in 1921, produced Fire motor ladder on a truck chassis firm White, hand-operated company Magirus. These fire trucks served until the end of the 1920s, when mass production of fire vehicles on the basis of domestic cars began in the Soviet Union.
