 Леопардовый полоз или леопардовый лазающий полоз (лат. Elaphe situla) - неядовитая змея семейства ужеобразных. Ареал вида и его распространение охватывает Балканы, Малую Азию, юг Апеннинского полуострова и некоторые острова Средиземного моря. В Украине распространен на южном берегу Крыма от Севастополя до Феодосии и в теплых местностях в пределах Главной и Внутренней гряд Крымских гор, где прослежен на высоте до 600-750 метров над уровнем моря. Охотно заселяет руины в пределах населенных пунктов. Занесен в Красную книгу Украины (1994, 2009) - 1 категория.

 Leopard snake (scient. Elaphe situla) is a non-venomous snake of a family of Colubridae. The range of the species and its distribution covers the Balkans, Asia Minor, the south of the Apennine peninsula and some islands of the Mediterranean. In Ukraine it is distributed on the southern coast of the Crimea from Sevastopol to Feodosia and in warm regions within the Main and Inner ridges of the Crimean Mountains, where it is traced at an altitude of 600-750 meters above sea level. Willingly inhabits the ruins within populated areas. It is listed in the Red Book of Ukraine (1994, 2009) - 1 category.
