 День памяти и примирения (памяти жертв Второй мировой войны, и примирение между странами-участниками Второй мировой войны) - памятный день в Украине, который отмечают 8 мая, в годовщину капитуляции нацистской Германии (это событие принято рассматривать как символ победы над нацизмом). В соответствии с Указом Президента Украины, подписанного в 2015 году, целью празднования является «достойное чествование подвига украинского народа, его выдающегося вклада в победу антигитлеровской коалиции во Второй мировой войне и выражения почтения всем борцам против нацизма».

 Remembrance and Reconciliation Day (commemorating the victims of the Second World War, and reconciliation between the countries participating in the Second World War) is a memorable day in Ukraine, which is celebrated on May 8, the anniversary of the surrender of Nazi Germany (this event is considered to be a symbol of victory over Nazism). In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine, signed in 2015, the purpose of the celebration is «worthy of honoring the feat of the Ukrainian people, their outstanding contribution to the victory of the anti-Hitler coalition in World War II and showing respect to all fighters against Nazism».
