 Почтовый блок состоит из двух марок на которых изображены древние архитектурные достопримечательности Индии и Вьетнама - Ступа в Санчи и Пагода Фоминь.

 The Miniature sheet consists of two stamps depicting the ancient architectural sights of India and Vietnam - Sanchi Stupa and Phổ Minh Pagoda.

 Ступа в Санчи - буддийская ступа, объект Список всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Считается, что во времена расцвета буддизма на индийской земле, император Ашока возвел в общей сложности 84 тысячи ступ, в каждую из которых была помещена частичка реликвий Будды. Первой из них стала ступа в Санчи, возведенная в третьем веке до новой эры. Все сооружение насквозь символично: цоколь ступы - это земля, а также мирские искушения, каменная полусфера, венчающая сооружение - это мир богов, и растворения в нирване, центральный столб ступы символизирует ось мира.

 The Sanchi Stupa (Great Stupa at Sanchi) is a Buddhist stupa, an object of UNESCO World Heritage List. It is believed that in the heyday of Buddhism in the Indian land, the emperor Ashoka erected a total of 84 thousand stupas, each of which was placed a piece of Buddha relics. The first of these was the stupa in Sanchi, built in the third century BC. The whole construction is symbolic: the foot of the stupa is the earth, as well as the worldly temptations, the stone hemisphere, the crowning structure is the world of the gods, and the dissolution in nirvana, the central pillar of the stupa symbolizes the axis of the world.

 Пагода Фоминь - буддийская пагода расположена в 9 км от Ханоя и в 3 км от города Намдинь. Пагода была построена во время правления династии Ли, а расширена в 1262 году во время династии Чан. Это место предназначалось только для элиты вьетнамского общества. В пагоде можно увидеть статуи троих основателей буддийской секты Чиклам (Чан Нян Тонг, Фап Лоа и Хуйен Куанг), а также 60 покрытых красным лаком Священных статуй и статуй Будды. 13-этажная башня пагоды в форме лотоса и высотой 21 метр . Основание и первый этаж башни выложены плитами, а верхние этажи - кирпичами.

 Phổ Minh Pagoda - Buddhist Pagoda is located 9 km from Hanoi and 3 km from the city of Nam Định. The pagoda was built during the reign of the Ly Dynasty, and expanded in 1262 during the Tran Dynasty. This place was intended only for the elite of Vietnamese society. In the pagoda you can see the statues of the three founders of the Buddhist sect Chiclam (Chan Nyan Tong, Phap Loa and Huyen Kuang), as well as 60 red-painted Holy Sacred Statues and Buddha statues. 13-story tower of the pagoda in the shape of a lotus and a height of 21 meters. The base and the first floor of the tower are lined with slabs, and the upper floors are bricks.
