Город с населением 16488 жителей (2001) расположен на востоке острова Гернси на территории 6,5 км². В гавани города расположен небольшой порт. С суши город окружают небольшие холмы, к югу расположены утёсы. Город выделен в отдельную административную единицу Гернси и разделён на два избирательных округа. В городе расположено много средневековых строений, представляющих интерес для туристов.

 Saint Peter Port - the capital of the possession of the British crown of Guernsey. A city with a population of 16,488 inhabitants (2001) is located in the east of Guernsey on an area of 6.5 km². There is a small port in the harbor of the city. From land, the city is surrounded by small hills, and cliffs are located to the south. The city is allocated in a separate administrative unit of Guernsey and is divided into two constituencies. The city has many medieval buildings of interest to tourists.
