 На аверсе купюры в 100 Новых тайваньских долларов изображен Сунь Ятсен (12 ноября 1866 - 12 марта 1925) - китайский революционер, основатель партии Гоминьдан, один из наиболее почитаемых в Китае политических деятелей. В 1940 году Сунь Ятсен посмертно получил титул "отца нации".

 The obverse of the banknotes of 100 New Taiwan dollars shows Sun Yat-sen (November 12, 1866 - March 12, 1925) - Chinese revolutionary, founder of the Kuomintang party, one of the most revered in China politicians. In 1940, Sun Yat-sen posthumously received the title of "father of the nation".

 

 На реверсе купюры в в 100 Новых тайваньских долларов изображен "Chung-Shan" - Мемориальный комплекс Сунь Ятсена является образцом китайской дворцовой архитектуры, здесь одновременно может поместиться до трех тысяч человек одновременно, есть здесь и библиотека Сунь Ятсена, которая насчитывает около 140 тысяч томов. Есть здесь и прекрасная картинная галерея, названная в честь великого Сунь Ятсена.

 Пруд Куичи - находится в уезде Мяоли, расположен на высоте около 3520 метров - выше любых озер в Тайване. Его воды никогда не иссякают в любое время года. Даже в разгар зимы вода в озере не замерзает.

 Cuichi Pond - Situated in Miaoli County, Cuichi Pond has the highest altitude - about 3,520 meters - of any lakes in Taiwan. Its lake water never runs dry at anytime of the year. Even in the dead of winter, the water does not freeze over in whole.

 

 Пруд Тунлу - находится в уезде Наньтоу на высоте около 2840 метров. Озеро было когда-то местом обитания стад оленей. Озеро наполняется от поверхностных и подземных вод круглый год. Овальной формы.

 Tunlu Pond - located in Nantou County at an altitude of about 2840 meters. The lake was once home to herds of deer. The lake is filled by surface water and groundwater throughout the year. Oval-shaped, the lake is a proverbial mirror huddled by verdant mountain valleys.

 Озеро Кикай - находится в уезде Хуалянь на восточном краю Центрального хребта на высоте около 2890 метров. Озеро площадью два гектара, наибольшая глубина восемь метров.

 Qicai Lake - located in Hualien on the eastern edge of the Central Mountain Range at an altitude of about 2890 meters. Lake area of two hectares, maximum depth of eight meters.

 

 Озеро Джиаминг - находится в уезде Тайдун, озеро расположено на второй по величине высоте озер в Тайване - около 3310 метров. Озеро имеет репутацию "Сапфира, что Бог оставил в мире смертных" или "Слезы ангела".

 Jiaming Lake - Seated in Taitung County, the lake sits on the second-highest elevation - about 3,310 meters - of any lakes in Taiwan. Jiaming Lake is reputed as “the sapphire that God left in the world of mortals” and "The Tear of an Angel".

 Мухомор или Amanita rubrovolvata - род микоризообразующих пластинчатых грибов семейства Аманитовые (Amanitaceae).  Впервые научно описан японским микологом С. Имаи в 1939 году, он широко распространен в Восточной Азии.

 Amanita rubrovolvata, commonly known as the red volva Amanita, is a species of fungus in the Amanitaceae family. First described scientifically by the Japanese mycologist S. Imai in 1939, it is widely distributed in eastern Asia. 

 Энтолома Муррея (лат. Entoloma murrayi) - вид грибов семейства Энтоломовые (Entolomataceae). Впервые описан в Новой Англии (США) в 1859 году, этот вид находится в восточной части Северной Америки, Центральной и Южной Америки и Юго-Восточной Азии, где он растет на земле в сырых хвойных и лиственных лесах.

 Entoloma murrayi, commonly known as the yellow unicorn Entoloma or the unicorn pinkgill, is a species of fungus in the Entolomataceae family. First described from New England (USA) in 1859, the species is found in eastern North America, Central and South America, and southeast Asia, where it grows on the ground in wet coniferous and deciduous forests.

 Звездовик, земляная звёздочка, или геаструм (лат. Geastrum) - род грибов семейства Звездовиковые (Geastraceae).  Впервые описан в 1829 году, широко распространен и встречается в Азии, Европе, Северной и Южной Америки.

 Geastrum fimbriatum, commonly known as the fringed earthstar or the sessile earthstar, is an inedible species of mushroom belonging to the genus Geastrum, or earthstar fungi. First described in 1829, the species was a widespread distribution, and is found in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. 

 Клавулинопсис (лат. Clavulinopsis) - род грибов из семейства Рогатиковых (Clavariaceae). Плодовые тела простые или разветвлённые, мясистые или восковатые, реже жестковатые, не ломкие, окрашены разнообразно. Произрастают на земле.

 Clavulinopsis miyabeana - genus of fungi in the family Clavariaceae (Clavariaceae). Fruiting bodies are simple or branched, fleshy or voskovatye, less harsh, not brittle, painted diverse. Grow on the ground.

 Euploea - од бабочек из семейства нимфалиды и подсемейства данаиды. Распространены виды этого рода в Индии, Малайзии, Индонезии, Японии и южном Китае. Типовая окраска бабочек темно-синяя, темно-коричневая или черная. Гусеницы напротив окрашены в яркие цвета. Все бабочки и гусеницы ядовиты из-за питания растениями рода Ваточник.

 Euploea - od butterfly of the family Nymphalidae subfamilies and monarch. Common species of this genus in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and southern China. Typical color of butterflies dark blue, dark brown or black. Caterpillars opposite painted in bright colors. All butterflies and caterpillars are poisonous because of the power plants of the genus Asclepias.

 Малая панда (лат. Ailurus fulgens) - млекопитающее из семейства пандовых отряда хищных, которое, тем не менее, питается преимущественно растительностью; размером немного крупнее кошки. Малая панда ведёт преимущественно ночной (вернее, сумеречный) образ жизни, днём спит в дупле, свернувшись и накрыв голову хвостом. В случае опасности также забирается на деревья. По земле панды двигаются медленно и неловко, зато отлично лазают по деревьям, но тем не менее кормятся преимущественно на земле. Хотя ареал малой панды занимает очень большую территорию и естественных врагов у неё немного, этот вид включён в списки Международной Красной книги со статусом «Подвергающийся опасности». Вид классифицировали как вымирающий, так как осталось всего 2500 особей. Дело в том, что плотность зверьков в природе очень невысока, и, кроме того, местообитания малой панды легко могут быть разрушены. Основную опасность представляет постоянная вырубка лесов в этих регионах, а также браконьерство и охота на малую панду из-за её красивого меха.

 Lesser Panda (lat. Ailurus fulgens) - a mammal of the order Carnivora Ailuridae family, which, however, feeds mainly on vegetation; slightly larger than the size of a cat. Lesser panda leads primarily nocturnal (or rather, Twilight), lifestyle, daytime sleeping in a hollow, and covered with a curled tail head. In case of danger and climb trees. On the ground pandas move slowly and awkwardly, but excellent climbing, but still feed mainly on the ground. Although a small area of the panda has a very large area and the natural enemies of her little, this kind included in the lists of the International Red Data Book with the status "endangers".
