 Почтовый выпуск посвящен 150-летию первой публикации «Приключения Алисы в стране Чудес» (англ. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) - сказка, написанная английским математиком, поэтом и прозаиком Чарльзом Лютвиджем Доджсоном под псевдонимом Льюис Кэрролл и изданная в 1865 году. В ней рассказывается о девочке по имени Алиса, которая попадает сквозь кроличью нору в воображаемый мир, населённый странными антропоморфными существами. Сказка пользуется устойчивой популярностью как у детей, так и взрослых. Книга считается одним из лучших образцов литературы в жанре абсурда; в ней используются многочисленные математические, лингвистические и философские шутки и аллюзии.

 The post issue is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the first publication, «Alice's Adventures in Wonderland», a fairy tale written by the English mathematician, poet and prose writer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll and published in 1865. It tells about a girl named Alice, who falls through a rabbit hole into an imaginary world inhabited by strange anthropomorphic creatures. The tale is enduringly popular among both children and adults. The book is considered one of the best examples of literature in the genre of absurdity; it uses numerous mathematical, linguistic and philosophical jokes and allusions.

 Beatrix Potter (Helen Beatrix Potter, July 28, 1866, Kensington, London - December 22, 1943, Near Sawrey, Lancashire) - was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

 Питер Кролик (англ. Peter Rabbit) - вымышленный антропоморфный персонаж, появляющийся в ряде сказок английской детской писательницы Беатрис Поттер.  Peter Rabbit is a fictional anthropomorphic character that appears in a number of tales of the English children's writer Beatrix Potter. He first appeared in the story «The Tale of Peter the Bunny» (The Tale of Peter Push) in 1902, and then in five more books between 1904 and 1912.

 James Matthew (J. M.) Barrie (May 9, 1860, Kirriemuir - June 19, 1937, London) is a Scottish playwright and novelist, author of a series of fabulous works about Peter Pan.

 Во всём мире Барри известен как автор сказки о Питере Пэне. Впервые его образ появился в двух ранних книгах Барри.  Throughout the world, Barry is known as the author of the tale of Peter Pan. His image first appeared in Barry's two early books. The novel «Tommy and Grisel» mentions a boy who has lost his family and is very glad that he was lost, but is afraid that he will still be found and forced to grow up. Then, the boy who did not want to grow up was described in detail in six chapters of the White Bird children's book (1902), which later came out as a separate book called Peter Pan in the Kensington Gardens (1906) with illustrations by Arthur Rackham.
