Международная компания «Сохранение полярных регионов и ледников» (англ. аббревиатура PPRG) проводилась под эгидой «Международного полярного года (2007-2008)» (англ. аббревиатура IPY) посвящена повышению осведомленности о состоянии дефицита полярных регионов и ледников в эпоху глобального потепления. Многие страны согласились принять участие, и посвятили этому событию свои почтовые выпуски. На сегодняшний день, почтовые марки или иные почтовые отправления, выпущенны для PPRG из 55 стран.
International company «Preserve the Polar Regions and Glaciers» (PPRG) was held under the auspices of the «International Polar Year (2007-2008)» (IPY) is dedicated to increasing awareness of the fragile state of the polar regions and glaciers in the era of global warming.
