 Косатка (лат. Orcinus orca) - морское млекопитающее, отряда китообразных. Окраска спины и боков у косатки чёрная, горло белое, на брюхе — белая продольная полоса. Косатка распространена практически по всему Мировому океану, встречаясь как вблизи берегов, так и в открытых водах, но придерживается в основном 800 км прибрежной полосы.

 The killer whale or orca (Orcinus orca) - is a marine mammal, a detachment of cetaceans.  The blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) - is a marine mammal from the order of cetaceans. The largest whale, the largest modern animal, and also probably the largest of all animals that ever existed on Earth. Its length reaches 33 meters, and the mass can significantly exceed 150 tons. The distribution area covers almost the entire World Ocean.

 Морская свинья (лат. Phocoena phocoena) - морское млекопитающее. Средняя длина тела 160 см у самок и 145 у самцов, средняя масса 50-60 кг. Распространены в северной части Атлантического океана, в Чёрном, Азовском, Мраморном и северной части Эгейского моря, в северной части Тихого океана.

 The harbour porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) - is a marine mammal. The average body length is 160 cm in females and 145 in males, the average weight being 50-60 kg. Distributed in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean, in the Black, Azov, Marmara and northern Aegean Sea, in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean.

 Международная компания «Сохранение полярных регионов и ледников» (англ. аббревиатура PPRG) проводилась под эгидой «Международного полярного года (2007-2008)» (англ. аббревиатура IPY) посвящена повышению осведомленности о состоянии дефицита полярных регионов и ледников в эпоху глобального потепления. Многие страны согласились принять участие, и посвятили этому событию свои почтовые выпуски. На сегодняшний день, почтовые марки или иные почтовые отправления, выпущенны для PPRG из 55 стран.

 International company «Preserve the Polar Regions and Glaciers» (PPRG) was held under the auspices of the «International Polar Year (2007-2008)» (IPY) is dedicated to increasing awareness of the fragile state of the polar regions and glaciers in the era of global warming.  Норден 2016 - совместный выпуск почтовых администраций скандинавских стран входящих в Северный совет. Почтовые выпуски скандинавских стран из серии Норден 2016 посвященные культуре скандинавской еды. Одной из главных особенностей скандинавской кухни является здоровая и полезная пища. На почтовой марке Исландии изображены рыба, свежие овощи и мясо. Исландия это остров окруженный со всех сторон морем которое всегда было основным источником пищи. Одним из блюд исландской кухни является хаукарль - вяленое мясо гренландской полярной акулы. Из мяса используется в основном баранина, экзотическое блюдо из баранины называется свид - замаринованная целиком овечья голова.

 Норден 2010 - совместный выпуск почтовых администраций скандинавских стран входящих в Северный совет. Идея совместного выпуска между странами Северной Европы возникла в 1951 году. Первый выпуск Норден был осуществлен в 1956 году с общим мотивом, представляющим пять лебедей в полете. В первом выпуске приняли участие почтовые администрации пяти северных стран - Дании, Финляндии, Исландии, Норвегии и Швеции. Следующие выпуски состоялись в 1969, 1973, с 1977 по 1998 год выпуски проходили каждые три года. В 1991 году к программе Норден присоединились еще три страны - Гренландия, Фарерские острова и Аланды. С 2002 года выпуски осуществляются  каждые два года.

 Norden 2010 - joint issue of postal administrations of the Scandinavian countries outside the Nordic Council. The idea of joint issue between the countries of Northern Europe came in 1951. The first issue of Norden was implemented in 1956 with a common motif, representing the five swans in flight. In the first edition was attended by the postal administrations of the five Nordic countries - Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The following issues were held in 1969, 1973, 1977 and 1998 editions were held every three years. In 1991, the program Norden joined by three more countries - Greenland, Faroe Islands and Åland. Since 2002, the issues are carried out every two years.
