Для этих работ в 1930 году на остров доставлена группа из шести человек и беременная женщина.  Saint-Paul (fr.  Франсуа Табюто (6 мая 1921 - 18 июня 2000) - французский полярный исследователь. Провел свою юность в городе Клермон, где его отец был страховщиком, учился в колледже Клермон-де-Уаз. После учебы в колледже Клермон-де-Уаз проходит обучение в военно-морском училище и получает звание офицера резерва. После Второй Мировой войны принял участие в двух антарктических экспедициях Поля-Эмиля Виктора в Землю Адели где была основана база в Порт-Мартин. Оставался там в течение двух лет подряд, как гидрограф, астрономический наблюдатель и штурман. Затем он прожил много лет в Бразилии и Таити. Умер 18 июня 2000 в Пираэ, Таити, Французская Полинезия.

 François Tabuteau (May 6, 1921 - June 18, 2000) - French polar explorer. Spent his youth in the city of Clermont, where his father was the insurer, he studied at the College de Clermont-Oise. Взрослые особи имеют темное оперение тела, длиной в несколько миллиметров. Взрослые особи обитают на скалах и совершенно не в состоянии летать, передвигаются прыгая.

 Amalopteryx maritima - insect of the family ephydridae. В 1931 г. получил лицензию пилота.  В 1933 году получил степень бакалавра по литературе и естественным наукам в университете Парижа. В 1934-1939 гг. принимал участие в полярных экспедициях в Гренландии и Лапландии. В 1939 г. был мобилизован на фронт. Был агентом французской разведки и связным офицером в Финляндии.
